Billabong’s new film Siska focusses on the rise of Mentawai women’s surfing. Young pioneer Siska Tasiripoula takes the stage alongside her friend Ruby to demonstrate the importance of local surfers having access to their world famous home breaks. Siska’s journey as the first female surfer of Mentawai is beautiful to witness and well worth a watch!

Crafted by Kayla Cartledge, a Gurindji woman living on Bunurong/Boon Wurrong land, this guide to creating a personal reconciliation action plan (RAP) is a thought provoking exercise. As a community who love to play in the waters and on the lands of the Bunurong/Boon Wurrung people, it’s important for us to think about how we as individuals interact with and support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities on the Mornington Peninsula.
